If you are on the fence considering physical therapy with Sarah, please tip to the side of
working with her. I began physical therapy with Sarah in February of this year for
intense pain and inflammation due to arthritis, bursitis, and spondylolisthesis (slipped
discs). I am an avid power walker, and I participate in Zumba two nights a week.
Throughout most of December, all of January, and most of February, I was unable to
powerwalk or Zumba due to severe pain. My chiropractor treated me weekly, and he
also used cold therapy treatment. Neither was bringing any relief. My mental health
began to deteriorate, and the feelings of hopelessness were ever present. I visited my
primary physician in February, and he wrote me a prescription for physical therapy. I
was skeptical and nervous. After the one hour I spent with Sarah, I was virtually pain-
free for the first time in two months. I wanted to skip and dance! It was amazing. Sarah
utilized the Graston Technique, strain-counterstrain, and dry needling for my condition.
She gave me exercises to do on my own, and by the end of February, I was back in
Zumba twice a week and powerwalking every morning. I continued weekly treatments
for four weeks, backed off to bi-weekly, and eventually concluded therapy. In May, I
was performing work I had no business doing with my back and arthritis issues, and I
again sought out Sarah for help. As was the case in February, my pain was gone,
flexibility returned, and inflammation reduced immediately. Sarah is compassionate and
talented, and I would highly recommend her work to everyone with pain and
inflammation.
